fyi - recycling of pet bottles is super easy here in japan. from your home, there is a 1 day a week pickup. and, every convenience store has pet bottle recycling container in front. so, in a way, the twisting it into a flower vase thing is just a marketing gimmick - though, a nice one. and, that said, designing a bottle that can be easily compacted with a twist, does make more room in the home recycling bin - so no complaints there.
