Studio Visits are integral in getting to know artists and the spaces where they create. Get to know some of Japan’s most ambitious artists through our studio visits.

Our Quarterly Features are longer-form articles on specific topics such as Mt. Fuji, everything you always wanted to know about Japanese trains, and much more!

On a periodic basis we host an online Member Lecture Series with professionals steeped in various elements of Japanese art and culture. Members will receive future invites, as well as access to all archived lectures.

A portion of your membership will be earmarked towards a Residency Program that brings 1 Japanese artist from Japan to New York for a whole month. Unfortunately the 2020 program had to be cancelled due to the pandemic but you can check out past winners: 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016.
