Many countries have their own unique cuisine. But not every country has their own unique paper. Japan has both. And for one Japanese man, the two came together for him later in life as hobby creating delectable meals entirely out of washi paper.
Meganenoo, whose online monicker comes from his bespectacled appearance (megane means glasses), says he began paper-crafting in his 70s. It’s unclear how old he is now but he’s certainly found his calling. His attention to detail renders each meal looking more delicious than the next. And remember: it’s never too late to start something new!
