These adorable little ghosts are the work of Masanaga Noike, the proprietor of glass studio naga-no-glass. After studying the craft of glass in Tokyo, Noike worked for a glassmaker in Hokkaido before founding his own studio in Nagano where he imbues his pieces with small be delightful touches of fun and whimsy.

The ghost chopstick rests (3080 yen) are each individually made by hand so their bodies and facial expressions vary slightly, which makes them all the more fun. He sells his work through the Japanese craft marketplace minne. You can also follow him on Instagram.
