Succulent shrimp coated with Panko breadcrumbs and fried till golden brown. Yum! Ebi-Fry, or Japanese fried shrimp, is one of our favorite foods. And with the approaching rainy season in Japan, we can’t think of a better way to pay homage to this yoshiku dish than with a fried shrimp umbrella.

Created by Japanese retailer Felissimo, the fried shrimp umbrella comes with a waterproof sleeve and a carrying bag that resembles the golden-brown panko crust. Although gimickey, the umbrella itself is surprisingly well-made with a beautiful graphic pattern and a hand-made wooden knob as a tail.

It retails for 5800 yen (about $54 usd) and will definitely crispen any wet day.
